Project Story

In Gaza, the concern is not only about food, but about continuity. Many families live each day wondering what they will eat today, only to face the same question again tomorrow, amid rising prices, unstable supply, and growing reliance on communal kitchens to secure basic meals.

Standing in line day after day to obtain food has become both a psychological and physical burden on families, especially during Ramadan, when households need a sense of stability to get through the month with greater peace of mind. This is where the Food Parcel Service comes in—offering a layer of food security that eases this daily pressure.

In the first phase, we aim to provide 2,000 food parcels, helping families secure their essential food needs for up to two weeks, restoring a sense of food security and reducing the need for daily searching or repeated reliance on communal kitchens.

The food parcel supplied to Gaza consists of a carefully selected range of essential food items, including rice, oil, sugar, salt, yeast, grains and legumes, along with canned goods and daily-use items such as cheese, jam, and similar staples, designed to meet a family’s basic food needs. The execution of your delegation for supplying food parcels takes place during the month of Ramadan, following an organized plan aimed at reaching as many beneficiary families as possible. Parcel contents may vary from one batch to another depending on market availability, while ensuring that the total value of the parcel does not fall below the value of the delegation on the day of implementation. Documentation will be shared collectively during execution, subject to field conditions and documentation capacity.
